If you're a TikToker, you are probably singing a few more lines of this song now. I get it because that's how the idea of this article started.

But we're not talking about the joy and positivity that Hold My Hand by Jess Glynne portrays; instead, we're talking about feeling invisible. With all the noise today on the interwebs and in the world, it seems impossible to stand out and be different.

Standing out in the crowd

In business, especially on social media, we aim to stand out and make people notice what we offer. This can be a real challenge on most platforms today.

I recently attended an event where the keynote speaker was well-known for their insights. Design and development topics can sometimes be a hit or miss with the crowd of attendees— the information often feels repetitive.

It's all about the presentation because it can be dry and repetitive! Trust me, I learned the hard way when I bombed while giving a development speech.

But this speaker? They added humor to the topic. I knew they were friendly, but only those close to them realized how funny they were.

They say life begins at 40, but I’m proof it gets even better at 60—because thriving doesn’t have an age limit, and neither does dreaming big.
