2024 is the year of nourishment

Since 2020, the pandemic year, my life has been a series of pivots and playing catchup.

It's not because of the craziness of this pivotal time in history, but because the hubs retired, we set out to travel more and flip our lives upside down.

So we did. Winter Beach stays, running my business remotely, finding a new normal, and going, going, going.

That was our life; then, we hit the wall.

We bought our forever home. It's not our first home; hopefully, it's our last.

We sold the RV and bought a boat. We've done the camping thing; now we're doing the boating, fishing thing.

I missed the four seasons, the snow, and the traditions that made the holidays special.

I need a safe space to land in between the adventures. I want to be close to family and friends, too. To have my own stuff and creature comforts.

Because life as a nomad isn't all the social media makes it out to be. It can be lonely. It can be disruptive. And it can also be amazing.
